WITRON is hiring an Automation Machine Operator to join our Lansing, MI distribution center. You will operate and monitor state-of-the-art automated material handling systems (MHE) within a high-paced environment, troubleshoot issues, and perform basic maintenance to keep lines running smoothly.

The role demands comfort with HMIs and WMS, a teamwork mindset, and the ability to work in varying temperatures while handling heavy lifting.

Formación

• 1-2 years in a distribution center or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, conveyors, or automated equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable using computers, HMIs, or warehouse management systems (WMS).

WITRON is seeking motivated and dependable Machine Operators to join our high-performanceproduction team. In this role, you will operate and monitor a state-of-the-art automated material handling system (MHE) inside a fast-paced distribution center environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor automated material handling equipment (MHE) and systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment faults, system errors, and material flow issues
• Perform basic maintenance and system recovery tasks
• Clear product jams, packaging issues, and carrier obstructions within the system
• Support continuous warehouse automation operations to ensure efficiency and uptime
• Collaborate with team members and maintenance personnel to maintain system performance

Qualifications

• At least 1-2 years of experience in a distribution center or manufacturing environment (preferred but not required)
• Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, conveyors, or automated equipment
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable using computers, HMIs, or warehouse management systems (WMS)
• Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, and climb for extended periods
• Capable of lifting, pulling, and pushing up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working at heights up to 80-100 feet
• Able to work in varying temperatures
• Exposure to an industrial warehouse setting with automated systems
