Precision Drive and Control Inc. seeks a Field Automation Engineer to deliver PLC/HMI/SCADA programming, drive configuration, and electrical design across diverse industrial sectors. The role involves field service, system startup, and commissioning at customer sites, with strong emphasis on safety, documentation, and client communication.

You will design control panels, develop P&IDs, configure networks, and perform drive setup for AC/DC systems. Travel to customer locations is required.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field or 3 years of related experience.
• Experience with PLCs, ladder logic, function block, and structured text.
• Familiarity with PID control and loop tuning.
• Excellent client-facing communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team.
• Knowledge of NFPA 70 and UL508A.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites and lift up to 75 pounds.

Responsabilidades

• Provide field engineering support including service calls and startup assistance.
• Program PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, and operator interfaces.
• Design control panels and electrical schematics.
• Develop P&IDs and wiring diagrams for automation projects.
• Configure industrial networks (Ethernet/IP, Modbus).
• Select and configure drive systems and instrumentation.
• Travel to customer locations for commissioning and support.
• Collaborate with customers and project teams.
