Job summary

Idaho Milk Products seeks an Electrical Instrumentation Technician to support our Jerome plant. You will troubleshoot and repair equipment across production lines and manage preventative maintenance tasks to keep systems running smoothly. Strong PLC and control software skills are essential.

The role requires willingness to handle on-call duties, off-hours work, and standby assignments as needed to minimize downtime in a fast-paced dairy facility located in Jerome, Idaho.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent work-related experience.
• Idaho State Electrical Journeyman’s License required.
• AS/ASc in Instrumentation and Controls or 2+ years related experience/training or equivalent combination.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the everyday automation activities of the manufacturing plant.
• Responsible for installation and testing of systems.
• Maintenance, inspections, and modification of automation equipment, technologies and processes.
• Resolves and repairs all system faults and anomalies.
• Calibrates instruments and performs daily preventive maintenance.
