Job summary

gpac is seeking an Installation Supervisor to lead onsite automation installations and coordinate cross-functional teams. You will ensure safe, efficient project execution with strong customer focus and clear communication.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor's in electrical or mechanical engineering, 2–5 years in control systems or mechanical engineering, and 2+ years in field service. Travel will be local, domestic, and international as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 2-5 years in control systems or mechanical engineering.
• 2+ years in a technical, customer-focused field service role.
• Installation experience strongly desired; powertrain assembly is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent customer-focused communication and attention to detail.
• Ability to read schematics, controls documents, and mechanical drawings.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, clean, and professional worksite.
• Lead onsite meetings covering targets, safety, priorities, and open issues.
• Coordinate engineers, project managers, installers, contractors, customers, and internal teams.
• Monitor milestones and elevate schedule concerns.
• Maintain safety logs, reports, issue lists, and meeting notes.
• Enforce safety procedures and required PPE use.
• Share concerns with project leadership.
• Assist with tooling buy-off, runoffs, schedules, and site organization.
• Build productive partnerships with customers and contractors.
• Represent the company with strong communication and customer focus.
