Job summary

Cleveland-Cliffs is seeking a hands-on Senior IT Network Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain the enterprise network with automation-first approaches. You will contribute to a DevOps-driven NetDevOps culture, applying IaC, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing for reliable networking across multi-site operations including IT and OT environments.

The role emphasizes security visibility, proactive threat detection, and scalable automation.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS/EE or related field.
CCNA certification or equivalent hands-on routing/switching knowledge.
CCNP certification preferred for advanced net engineering.
5+ years deploying enterprise-grade network monitoring/observability systems.

Responsibilities

Develop, deploy, and maintain enterprise network monitoring, logging, and tracing.
Design and build automation for deployment, config, monitoring, and incident response.
Apply DevOps practices to network operations with version control and IaC.
Manage network configurations in source control with peer review and auditable deployment workflows.
Support 24x7 operations and participate in on-call escalations.
Collaborate with Cyber Security and OT teams for secure network operations.
