Job summary

CelLink Corporation in South Carolina is seeking an Equipment Technician to support its fleet of automated production equipment. You will respond quickly to real-time issues and collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and operations teams to develop long-term solutions.

The role focuses on fabricating, assembling, testing, and wiring of manufacturing tools, CAD modeling in SolidWorks, and maintaining equipment to ensure reliability and efficiency in a fast-paced startup environment.

Qualifications

Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering technology preferred.
2+ years of hands-on experience as a machinist, welder, mechanic, equipment engineer, or similar experience.
Experience with the design, assembly, and/or maintenance of automated manufacturing equipment is strongly preferred.
SolidWorks CAD skills or similar 3D CAD experience preferred.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.
Willingness to work in a fast-paced startup environment.

Responsibilities

Fabricate, modify, and assemble mechanical and electrical components per engineering drawings.
Assemble, test, and install custom manufacturing tools and equipment.
Create and modify mechanical CAD models and drawings.
Perform machining and welding as needed.
Work with engineers and operators to keep equipment reliable and efficient.
Assist in building new equipment and improvements to existing ones.
