Job summary

Castelion in Torrance, California is seeking a highly motivated Manufacturing Engineer to support development and scale-up of chemical vapor deposition (CVD) manufacturing systems. This hands-on engineering role requires experience in designing and troubleshooting mechanical systems.

The ideal candidate is comfortable with direct hardware work and will be responsible for operations, testing, and equipment maintenance to improve manufacturability and throughput. A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is required.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated hands-on engineering experience designing, building, testing, or troubleshooting hardware.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Experience with vacuum systems, thermal processing equipment, or industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, assemble, and test modifications to CVD reactor systems.
• Support daily reactor operations and development testing.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment issues.
