Danone North America is seeking an Automation Engineer Manager based in City of Industry, CA. You will lead the controls and automation team, directing projects from concept to operation. The role requires hands-on experience in automation, project management, and cross-functional collaboration across quality, technical services, R&D.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering or related field; equiv. experience accepted.
• Minimum five years in Automation and Control Systems PM in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience with automation installation, supervision, maintenance and improvement.
• Demonstrated leadership and problem-solving under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage automation and control system improvements across plants.
• Lead implementation of new automation equipment and processes.
• Develop training plans for plant mechanics and operators.
• Coach automation engineers within assigned areas.
• Interface with quality, technical services, R&D and operations teams.
• Develop and review automation documentation and standards.
• Evaluate proposals and manage automation-related RFPs.
• Ensure safety, reliability, and process repeatability of systems.
