Job summary

Danone seeks an Automation Engineer Manager based in City of Industry, CA, to direct and grow the controls and automation team. This role requires hands-on experience in automation design, implementation, management and continuous improvement in a manufacturing setting.

You will collaborate with senior plant leadership to meet customer, regulatory and internal requirements, oversee project placements, and ensure safe, scalable automation solutions across the facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in engineering; related field preferred.
• Minimum five years Automation and Control Systems Engineering PM experience.
• Experience supervising systems integration, installation, commissioning.
• Strong automation electrical design knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the controls and automation team.
• Develop and implement automation solutions for plant operations.
• Interface with quality, R&D and operations across functions.
• Review diagrams and HMIs to ensure standards compliance.
• Develop training plans for plant mechanics.
