Job summary

CDM Smith in Ohio is seeking an Automation (Instrumentation & Controls) Engineering Intern to join our team. You’ll work with a dynamic team of engineers on a diverse portfolio of industrial projects, including developing diagrams, databases and control system graphics.

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program in Chemical, Electrical, Computer Engineering or a related field is required, with travel of about 10% or less.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program in Chemical, Electrical, Computer Engineering or a related engineering field is required.
• Travel: 10% or less.
• CDM Smith offers an internship in Automation/Instrumentation & Controls engineering on diverse projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop process and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) and electrical component interconnection diagrams.
• Create and maintain control system databases.
• Develop process control graphics and controller programming.
• Support design, development, testing, integration and startup of control systems.
