CDM Smith is seeking an Automation (Instrumentation & Controls) Engineering Co-Op for Spring 2027 in Columbus. You will work with a dynamic team on public, federal, and industrial projects, contributing to SCADA system design, instrumentation design, and control network planning.

You’ll engage in design, development, testing, integration, and startup activities across project phases. Ideal candidates are enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Chemical, Electrical, or Computer

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled and taking courses toward a Bachelor's or Master's in Chemical, Electrical, Computer Engineering or a related engineering field is required.

Responsibilities

• Developing process and instrumentation diagrams, electrical component interconnection diagrams, control system databases, process control graphics, and controller programming.
• You will be involved with all phases of control systems projects starting with designing, development, testing, integrating and starting up of these systems.
