Job summary

Earnix is seeking a motivated Automation Developer Student to join our team and help scale our test automation. You will expand our existing Python-based integration test framework, covering our server-side APIs, services and databases.

Working closely with QA engineers and developers, you will build reliable, comprehensive automated tests that replace manual QA checks, shorten our release cycles and directly improve product quality.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a B.Sc. in Computer Science or Software Engineering, with at least 3 semesters left to graduation and a GPA of 80 or above.
• Hands-on experience with Python or a similar backend language (e.g., Java, C#, Go).
• Practical experience using AI tools effectively for coding.

Responsibilities

• Develop and extend automated tests within our existing Python integration test framework.
• Translate features, user flows and QA test plans into clear, complete and reliable automated test scenarios.
• Write integration tests covering APIs, backend services and databases.
• Collaborate closely with QA engineers and developers to make sure automated tests are thorough enough to replace manual testing.
• Maintain and improve existing tests, investigate failures and help keep the test suites stable and trustworthy.
• Use AI tools to work efficiently and keep improving how the team builds and maintains tests.

Requirements

You'll Do It Using:

• Practical experience using AI tools effectively for coding
