Job summary

koundinyasa Technology Services seeks an experienced QA Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Nightwatch.js and Selenium. You will integrate tests with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI) to enable continuous testing and support web application quality.

The role involves scripting, cross-browser testing, collaborating with product and development teams, mentoring juniors, and delivering detailed test plans, reports, and dashboards to measure

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in automation testing with a focus on Selenium and Nightwatch.js.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and creating reusable test scripts.
• Familiarity with cross-browser and cross-platform testing methodologies.
• Deep understanding of Agile, Scrum, and BDD in test automation.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and Git.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Nightwatch.js and Selenium.
• Develop and execute complex test scripts for web applications, ensuring high coverage of functional and regression tests.
• Translate requirements into automated test cases in collaboration with product owners and developers.
• Maintain and update the test suite as product requirements evolve.
• Plan testing activities, write detailed test cases, generate tests data, and report defects with actionable details.
• Create comprehensive reports and dashboards for test execution and coverage metrics.
• Mentor junior QA team members and promote automation best practices.
