Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required for Automation Engineer title.
• Experience with PLC or motion controller programming and troubleshooting is preferred.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, circuit diagrams, mechanical drawings, and technical documentation.
• SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar engineering software experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and application support for automation and motion control products, systems, and solutions.
• Work with Engineering, Sales, and customers to understand application requirements and recommend appropriate products and system solutions.
• Assist with system architecture, product selection, hardware and software specifications, and network layouts.
• Support the development of technical solutions and quotations based on customer requirements and industry standards.
• Provide programming, configuration, commissioning, startup, and troubleshooting support for PLCs, motion controllers, HMIs, and industrial networks.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including electrical schematics, circuit diagrams, mechanical layouts, and system documentation.
