Job summary

AbbVie is seeking an Automation OT Systems Engineer to maintain and configure manufacturing OT systems, including DCS, PLCs, SCADA and data historians. You will troubleshoot during and outside business hours and support site operations technologies per procedures.

Responsibilities include developing control configurations, providing training, diagnosing hardware/software issues, and ensuring compliance with EHS standards while potentially working overtime and weekends when required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or related discipline with 2 years of relevant experience.
• Master’s degree in computer science, engineering or related discipline; experience not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop basic control configuration or programming per design documents to meet functional requirements.
• Provide first-line technical support to Project Engineers, Maintenance, Production and OT personnel.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot control system hardware, software, and networking issues.
