Summary: The Automation Engineer II is responsible for design work, specifically designing tailored solutions to meet client requests using automation technologies. In addition to the work of a more senior automation engineer, this position will coach junior engineers on automation best practices.

Responsibilities:

• Provides production support, including problem identification, ticket documentation, and customer/vendor communication.
• Articulates the business value and impact of technical information and knows when to escalate issues.
• Documents small-to-medium projects and delivers presentations under supervision.
• Analyzes complex situations and refocuses on critical technology tasks.
• Leads automation engineers through tactical problems.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
