Western & Southern is seeking an experienced Test Automation Engineer to define and lead the program-level automation strategy, build and maintain the framework for UI and middleware, and mentor automation developers across projects.

You will collaborate with SQA managers, optimize regression suites, integrate with CI pipelines, and demonstrate innovations to maximize ROI while ensuring high-quality releases across web, services, and mainframe components.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or commensurate experience.
• 5+ years of software test engineering with hands-on automation testing using Selenium.
• 2+ years API testing (REST/SOAP); XML and JSON formats.
• SQL for backend validation and test management reporting.
• Experience in test script optimization techniques.
• Strong OO programming and debugging skills.
• Knowledge of SDLC, QA lifecycle, and automation tool ecosystems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi- platform environment; proactive and detail-oriented.

Responsabilidades

• Define automation testing strategy with the SQA Manager.
• Develop and maintain UI and middleware test automation framework for web, mainframe, web services, databases, documents, and XML.
• Optimize use of existing tools and open-source options for faster, cost-effective testing.
• Review regression scenarios for automation feasibility and ROI.
• Create and publish weekly program-level automation dashboards and collect metrics.
• Mentor automation developers and QA teams on framework usage and best practices.
• Provide CI development support and improve build-test processes and scripts.
