Job summary

Culligan Water is seeking an Electrical Controls Engineer II to design, program, build, test, and troubleshoot electrical control systems for global accounts. The role blends engineering design with hands-on shop-floor and field support, including BMS, BACnet, MODBUS, PLC and HMI programming, and panel design.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of industrial controls experience and can read P&IDs, schematics, and customer specs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of industrial controls experience with PLC programming and HMI development.
• Proficiency with Allen-Bradley and Siemens PLC platforms and related engineering tools.
• Ability to read P&IDs, electrical schematics, and customer specifications.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% and work in‑office 4–5 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support electrical controls solutions for industrial water treatment systems.
• Create and maintain electrical schematics, panel layouts, I/O lists, BOMs, and documentation.
• Program PLCs and HMIs using process diagrams and customer requirements.
• Support panel builds, wiring, prototype work, FAT/QTP, and field startups as needed.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve technical issues.
