Job summary

Moderna is seeking a Site-based Automation Engineer to support GxP manufacturing systems, including DeltaV and Allen-Bradley PLCs. You will troubleshoot complex issues and ensure compliance across design and operations, enabling 24/7 production of mRNA therapies.

The role requires a BS in engineering or CS and 2–3 years in process automation, with the ability to work all shifts. US work authorization is required; remote work is not available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technology discipline.
• 2-3 years of experience working with process automation systems.
• Clear communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in an understandable manner to various stakeholders.
• Ability to work in first, second, or third shifts to support 24/7 operation.
• This position is site-based, requiring you to be at Moderna’s site full-time. This position is not eligible for remote work.
