Job summary

Judit Inc in New Orleans, LA seeks an experienced Automation Engineer to design, develop and maintain advanced automation systems for military vehicle manufacturing. You will work across hardware, software, sensors and control architectures to improve efficiency, safety and reliability.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Automation/Electrical/Mechanical/CS or robotics and at least 5 years of hands-on automation experience, with exposure to robotics, control theory and AI-enabled sensing. U.S.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in automation/engineering related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in automation engineering with robotics or control systems.
Strong understanding of automation principles, control theory, and sensor integration.
Experience with military vehicle systems, defense standards, and relevant protocols is highly desirable.
Familiarity with machine learning and AI technologies is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication skills.
Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with changing priorities.

Responsibilities

Collaborate to conceptualize, design, and implement automation systems.
Develop control algorithms, software, and hardware for automation.
Identify, evaluate, and integrate AI, sensors, cameras, LiDAR, radar into automation inputs.
Ensure safety and reliability per military standards and regulations; perform testing and validation.
Create prototypes and conduct tests to validate system performance.
Maintain documentation and generate progress reports for stakeholders.
Provide training and technical support to end-users.
