Unisys in the United States is seeking an Automation Engineer with 3-5 years of hands-on experience to identify and eliminate repetitive manual work across Steady State teams (Windows, Linux, Storage, and Backup). The role centers on discovery and delivery, partnering with Steady State to surface recurring tasks via interviews and ServiceNow data, then codifying best practices and procedures.

You will implement automation using Ansible, Terraform, GitLab CI/CD, HashiCorp Vault, and JFrog

Formación

• Identify recurring, manual, time-consuming tasks from Steady State operations.
• Prioritize automation opportunities based on ticket volume, risk and impact.
• Build and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines for automation delivery to production.
• Manage secrets and certificates using HashiCorp Vault in production.
• Use JFrog Artifactory suite (Xray, Catalog, Curation) to secure artifacts.
• Validate automation against current procedures before retirement of manual processes.
• Document automation playbooks and pipeline configurations.
• Track automation coverage and reduction in manual ticket volume.

Responsabilidades

• Mine and analyze ServiceNow ticket data to surface recurring tasks.
• Prioritize automation opportunities with Steady State leadership.
• Create/maintain CI/CD pipelines for automation deployment.
• Secure credentials and secrets via Vault.
• Manage Artifactory artifacts and security features.
• Validate new automation against existing processes.
• Document automation runbooks and configurations.
• Monitor automation impact and backlog trends.
