Job summary

Hw3 Llc in the United States is seeking an experienced Automation/Controls Engineer to lead Emerson DeltaV DCS commissioning and qualification across GMP environments.

The role requires on-site work during commissioning and start-up, with close collaboration with engineering, validation and manufacturing teams to resolve issues and ensure compliant, reliable system performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of automation/controls engineering experience.
• Experience commissioning and start-up in regulated manufacturing.
• Experience with FAT/SAT, loop checks, I/O testing and troubleshooting.
• Strong GMP/GxP understanding and on-site work during commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Commission, troubleshoot and qualify Emerson DeltaV DCS systems.
• Support FAT, SAT, commissioning and start-up activities.
• Configure DeltaV control modules, sequences, graphics and batch controls.
• Work with PLCs, HMIs, SCADA and other automation systems.
• Support system integration, loop checks, I/O testing and functional testing.
• Collaborate with engineering, validation and manufacturing to resolve issues.

Job description

• Commission, troubleshoot and qualify Emerson DeltaV DCS systems.
• Support FAT, SAT, commissioning and start-up activities.
• Configure and troubleshoot DeltaV control modules, sequences, graphics and batch controls.
• Work with PLCs, HMIs, SCADA and other automation systems where required.
• Support system integration, loop checks, I/O testing and functional testing.
• Work closely with engineering, validation and manufacturing teams to resolve automation issues.
• Ensure all work is completed in line with GMP, GxP and site procedures.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of Automation/Controls Engineering experience.
• Proven commissioning and start-up experience within pharma, biotech or other regulated manufacturing environments.
• Experience with FAT/SAT, loop checks, I/O testing and troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of GMP/GxP environments.
• Ability to work onsite during commissioning and start-up.
