Job summary

GovCIO is seeking an Automation Engineer to support data analysis, process automation, data configuration, workflow configuration, and reporting activities at ICE. This role collaborates with officers and contractors to deliver real-time metrics and actionable insights to support the ICE mission, with on-site duties at the San Antonio Field Office.

Responsibilities include building dashboards, integrating Power BI/Tableau/Qlik, and translating complex data requests into practical solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience.
5+ years of work experience.
3+ years of experience in data and automation client environments.
Microsoft Power Platform experience (Power Automate, Power BI).

Responsibilities

Collaborate with stakeholders to collect information for timely responses.
Align data with analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and Qlik dashboards.
Map workflows and identify automation opportunities using Power Apps and Power BI.
Perform gap analyses and propose data-system solutions.
Provide trade-off analyses on technical solutions for complex data requests.
Create project deliverables and ensure compliance with quality standards.
Use source data to assess project effectiveness and business processes.
Adapt to changing requirements and deliver timely solutions.
Enable end-user visibility of data via dashboards and metrics dissemination.
Translate complex issues into actionable insights for mission leadership.
