Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking an experienced engineer to design, develop, and support network automation across enterprise environments. You will build ServiceNow applications, workflows, and integrations, and develop Python-based automation services to improve efficiency and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support network automation solutions that streamline service delivery, network operations, and infrastructure management across enterprise environments.
• Build and maintain ServiceNow applications, workflows, and integrations using Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, Catalog Items, Business Rules, Script Includes, and Service Portal capabilities.
• Develop Python-based automation services and reusable frameworks that improve operational efficiency, scalability, and service reliability.
• Create and support REST API integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise platforms to enable automated provisioning, asset management, compliance validation, and reporting.
• Automate processes across SD-WAN, routing, switching, firewalls, load balancing, DNS, and cloud networking services.
• Develop and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and deployment processes following Agile and DevSecOps best practices.
• Design self-service solutions and workflow orchestration capabilities that reduce manual engineering effort and accelerate service delivery.
• Partner with network, security, and governance teams to implement automated compliance, attestation, approval, audit, and policy enforcement workflows.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
• 10 or more years of relevant work experience with programming concepts, development logic or automating highly complex processes

Preferred Skills / Experience

• Strong experience with ServiceNow Development, including Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, Service Portal, Service Catalog, CMDB, ITSM, ITOM, Business Rules, and Script Includes.
• Proficiency in Python Development for infrastructure automation, workflow orchestration, and enterprise application development.
• Experience building and supporting REST APIs, JSON, XML, and enterprise system integrations.
• Hands‑on experience with GitLab, source control, CI/CD pipeline development, automated testing, and deployment automation.
• Knowledge of JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting for application customization and workflow automation.
• Experience automating enterprise network technologies, including SD-WAN, Routing, Switching, Firewalls, Load Balancers, and DNS Services.
• Understanding of Agile Development, DevSecOps practices, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and software delivery lifecycles.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills with experience supporting governance, compliance, security, and operational automation initiatives.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).

Pay Range: $119,765.00 - $140,900.00
