Job description

Responsibilities

• Support the design, programming, and implementation of automated systems across site equipment.
• Maintain and troubleshoot existing automation systems to ensure reliable manufacturing operations.
• Develop and update technical documentation, including design and functional specifications.
• Participate in system startup, commissioning, and validation activities.
• Monitor control system performance and recommend improvements aligned with industry standards.
• Uphold GMP and safety requirements while meeting project schedules and compliance expectations.
• Contribute to standard operating procedure (SOP) development and assist with staff training.
• Provide on-call support for urgent automation issues as part of a rotating schedule.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams within site operations to address production needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (preferred).
• 3–5 years of experience working with manufacturing automation systems.
• Proficiency in PLC and HMI programming; familiarity with Rockwell FactoryTalk or similar software.
• Knowledge of Siemens control systems and ISA-88 batch process standards is beneficial.
• Understanding of 21 CFR Part 11 and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to clarity and professionalism.
