Job summary

Regeneron is seeking an Automation Engineer to join the Automation team in Limerick. The role focuses on end-user support for Small Manufacturing Equipment, documentation, and SME collaboration across departments to enhance systems.

You will implement changes, support audits, and drive projects for equipment upgrades while aligning with quality and validation teams throughout the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• BS/BA or higher in Science, Engineering, Instrumentation, Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years relevant experience preferred, relevant experience may be substituted for education

Responsibilities

• Deliver end-user support for Small Manufacturing Equipment applications, troubleshooting issues and communicating clearly with management, business process owners and users.
• Developing and maintaining automation documentation, including SOPs, work instructions and configuration specifications.
• Managing essential administrative tasks relating to functional support and user account administration
• Serving as the trusted Subject Matter Expert (SME), working closely with functional departments on projects to develop, implement and enhance systems
• Implementing software and hardware changes and upgrades, with a clear understanding of their impact on Manufacturing and Facilities
• Providing support before, during and after Regulatory and Partner inspections
• Participating in, or leading projects to introduce new Small Manufacturing Equipment or upgrading existing applications
• Working with Validation and Quality to ensure automation applications for small manufacturing equipment are implemented in line with the development life cycle approach
• Leading and supporting security access and periodic audit trail reviews
