Qualifications

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a team-based engineering environment

Responsibilities

• Design and program full PLC-based control systems for custom automated conveying equipment.
• Develop intuitive HMI interfaces (FactoryTalk View) and configure VFD platforms (PowerFlex).
• Create comprehensive electrical schematic packages, including BOMs and component selection.
• Lead internal system commissioning and troubleshooting during the machine development cycle.
• Ensure all designs meet NEC and UL 508A standards.
• Program and troubleshoot PLC, HMI, and drive systems
• Work with engineering teams to develop and improve automation solutions

Automation Engineer

We are seeking an Automation Engineer to support the design, development, and implementation of control systems for automated conveying equipment and material handling systems. This role will work closely with mechanical engineering, production, and project teams to develop reliable machine control solutions.

The position is open to entry-level candidates with strong technical foundations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and program full PLC-based control systems for custom automated conveying equipment.
• Develop intuitive HMI interfaces (FactoryTalk View) and configure VFD platforms (PowerFlex).
• Create comprehensive electrical schematic packages, including BOMs and component selection.
• Skilled in one or more industry stanadard programming platforms such as: SCADA, Siemens WIN CC, Ignition, Rockwell Factory Talk View / Rockwell Automation (CompactLogix/ControlLogix)
• Skilled with AutoCAD Electrical.
• Master reusable code blocks and control templates to improve department-wide efficiency.
• Lead internal system commissioning and troubleshooting during the machine development cycle.
• Ensure all designs meet NEC and UL 508A standards.
• Program and troubleshoot PLC, HMI, and drive systems
• Work with engineering teams to develop and improve automation solutions

Required Qualifications
