- Read PLC ladder logic and support authorized PLC/HMI modifications and configuration updates.
- Troubleshoot electrical, pneumatic, servo/stepper, and sensor-related issues; maintain approved program and configuration backups.
3. Robot Programming and Recovery
- Troubleshoot and recover industrial robots, including alarms, motion errors, communication faults, and sequence interruptions.
- Perform approved program, position, coordinate, TCP, and EOAT adjustments.
- Validate changes for safe operation and coordinate advanced issues with HQ robotics engineers.
4. Machine Vision and Inspection Systems
- Configure, calibrate, and troubleshoot machine vision and automated inspection systems.
- Adjust camera settings, lighting, inspection regions, and thresholds to address false rejects and missed defects.
- Support vision recipe changes and maintain configurations in coordination with Quality and HQ Engineering.
5. Spare Parts and Local Recovery Management
- Identify critical spares and maintain inventory, minimum stock, and reorder requirements.
- Coordinate local sourcing and replacement of critical equipment components with Purchasing, suppliers, and HQ.
- Establish local troubleshooting and recovery procedures to reduce dependence on Taiwan support.
6. Preventive Maintenance and Equipment Reliability
- Execute preventive maintenance, inspections, calibration checks, and routine equipment servicing.
- Troubleshoot equipment failures and support safe, timely production recovery.
