Job summary

Unknown Private Manufacturer is seeking an Automations Controls Engineer to design clear, complete, and accurately working products and systems using CAD, sketches, and notes. The role involves coordinating with sales, engineering, and manufacturing to ensure documentation meets specifications and timelines.

Responsibilities include creating drawings, reviewing plans for standards compliance, verifying dimensional accuracy, and acting as project manager for automation projects.

Qualifications

  • Equivalent to a two or four year degree preferred with major course work in an engineering curriculum or related area.
  • Knowledge of PLC programming.
  • Knowledge of electrical circuits.
  • Strong math skills including geometry and trigonometry.
  • Excellent computer knowledge and skills with drafting programs.
  • Excellent communication skills required.
  • Must be detail oriented and strive for continual improvement.
  • Must be safety minded and practice shop safety.

This privately-owned company is rapidly growing and seeking an Automations Controls Engineer to design clear, complete and accurately working products and systems using CAD, rough or detailed sketches, and/or notes. Primary Duties
  • Create drawings, checking material dimensions and relationship to other parts and to the entire structure or project on the drawing
  • Review development plans for compliance with adopted engineering standards

Qualifications/Experience
  • Equivalent to a two or four year degree preferred with major course work in an engineering curriculum or a related area of study; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job
  • Knowledge of PLC programming
  • Knowledge of electrical circuits
  • Must have strong math skills including geometry and trigonometry
  • Excellent computer knowledge and skills with drafting programs
  • Excellent communication skills required
  • Must be detail oriented and possess a willingness to accept challenges and strive for continual improvement in all areas
  • Must be safety minded and practice shop safety
  • Must be self motivated to work independently
