SUMMARY:
The Automation Engineer is responsible for the design, programming, implementation, and continuous improvement of robotic and automated systems used in manufacturing operations. This role works closely with engineering, production, and maintenance teams to develop automation solutions that improve safety, quality, efficiency, and productivity. The Automation Engineer serves as the technical expert for FANUC robots, Panasonic welding systems, and related automation equipment.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret technical documents and communicate effective in English.
COMPUTER SKILLS: Proficient in Microsoft Applications as CAD software and automated equipment design.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Strong mathematical and technical aptitude.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with the variety of situations which occur. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform hands‑on tasks in shop environments.
