Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Limited is seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer in Charlotte, NC to design, implement, and maintain automated tests for web and API services within banking and FinTech environments.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, and ensure data integrity and regulatory compliance across platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Experience testing financial applications preferred.
• Strong understanding of test design and execution.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and API applications.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing for financial platforms.
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, and product owners to create test scenarios and cases.
• Integrate automated tests within CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
• Validate data accuracy across applications and databases, ensuring compliance with standards and security.
• Analyze results, identify defects, and drive issue resolution with teams.
• Experience in Banking/Capital Markets/Payments/FinTech preferred.

Job Description

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, API, and enterprise applications using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Rest Assured, or similar frameworks.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing to ensure the quality and reliability of financial applications and trading/payment platforms.
• Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners to understand requirements and create comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
• Develop and integrate automated test suites within CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.) to support continuous testing and rapid releases.
• Validate data accuracy across applications, databases, and interfaces, ensuring compliance with financial industry standards, regulations, and security requirements.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, perform root cause analysis, and work with development teams to drive timely issue resolution.
• Experience working in Banking, Capital Markets, Wealth Management, Payments, or FinTech environments with a strong understanding of financial products and transaction workflows preferred.
