Job summary

Five Star Management is seeking a maintenance technician for our Houston, TX facility. The role focuses on installing, maintaining, and repairing electronic equipment used in our manufacturing operations, with emphasis on automation systems and safe operation.

The ideal candidate will perform preventive, predictive, and total productive maintenance, read schematics, and troubleshoot up to 480 volts. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential, with bilingualism a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop preventive and predictive maintenance per standardized procedures.
• Interact with operators and supervisors to achieve production goals.
• Read electrical/electronic schematics and manuals; utilize MS Office and online manuals.
• Program PLCs and HMIs; set up drives and control parameters.
• Troubleshoot faults using instruments, blueprints and manufacturer specs.
• Maintain records of faults/alarms with date and machine number.
