Reporting to the Electro-Mechanical Technician Manager, the Electro-Mechanical Technician will be responsible for the electrical and mechanical assembly, installation, and support of automation systems across various manufacturing industries from start to finish.

Responsibilities
  • Assemble, install, and maintain automation systems
  • Perform inspections on automation systems to identify potential startup issues
  • Align and fit electrical and mechanical assemblies
  • Perform regular and preventative maintenance on installed automation systems
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Interact with engineering staff verbally and in writing
  • Participate in project reviews to ensure timely and budget-conscious completion, meeting customer expectations
  • Work in a team environment to meet or exceed customer expectations
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of experience as an Electro-Mechanical Technician or in a related field
  • Strong math skills and ability to interpret measurements
  • Experience with power and hand tools
  • Ability to read electrical and mechanical blueprints
  • Experience in electrical panel building
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions effectively
  • Good communication skills for maintaining a safe work environment
  • Self-motivated and team-oriented
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
