Job summary

Carlex Glass Manufacturing seeks a skilled Industrial Electrician to diagnose, repair, and install electrical systems on high-tech production equipment. You will monitor lines daily, investigate stoppages, and drive corrective actions to minimize downtime while supporting major installation and commissioning projects.

Preferred candidates hold a Journeyman credential with 4+ years of factory electrical experience, PLC/NC proficiency, and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Trade apprenticeship (min 4 years) or 6+ years of industrial electrical troubleshooting and installation experience.
• Journeyman Industrial Electrician credential is required.
• Experience with PLC, servo, NC and power systems and strong diagnostic skills.
• Ability to apply electrical theory to test and modify developmental and operational equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical/electronic diagnosis, repairs, and installations on complex manufacturing machinery.
• Run daily line monitoring assessments to spot issues early and maintain quality.
• Investigate process stoppages due to equipment failure and drive corrective action.
• Assist Engineers with process improvements to reduce cycle time and elevate performance.
• Support major installation and commissioning projects.
• Model regular, dependable attendance and strong teamwork.
