Job summary

Hutchinson is seeking a Maintenance Technician to repair and maintain machinery, plants and equipment across the facility. You will work under the Maintenance Group Leader on your shift, performing diagnostics, disassembly, reassembly, lubrication, and preventive maintenance.

The role requires 2–5 years of industrial maintenance experience and an associate degree or two-year technical schooling. Experience with PLCs and electrical/controls troubleshooting is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or two-year technical school in applied trades.
• 2–5 years industrial maintenance experience, preferably in rubber, plastics, injection or extrusion manufacturing.
• Proven experience with complex electrical/controls troubleshooting and equipment installation/commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Observe devices and equipment in operation and troubleshoot problems.
• Dismantle and reassemble equipment to perform repairs.
• Inspect parts and diagnose dimensional changes; interpret manuals and blueprints.
