Aerotek is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Petersburg distribution center to support equipment and facility systems, ensuring safe, reliable operation. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and document work orders.

You will read schematics, operate lifting and material handling equipment, and collaborate with teammates to keep the site running smoothly. The role is contract to hire with competitive shift premiums for nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance with electrical, electronics, and mechanical equipment or related coursework/certification.
• Associates degree or higher in mechatronics, electronics, or industrial maintenance.
• Active, industry-recognized certification such as CRMT or MCET.

Responsabilités

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment such as lift trucks, conveyors, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and material handling systems.
• Troubleshoot complex equipment issues and diagnose problems not immediately apparent.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Complete work orders, maintenance logs, and related documentation.
• Operate powered industrial equipment and assist with general facility upkeep, including grounds and building maintenance.
• Collaborate with other maintenance technicians to support repairs and operational needs.
