Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, software engineering, computer science, or a related technical field.
2+ years of experience in embedded software, software integration testing, target-hardware validation, test automation, or software development for technical products.
Understanding of software development practices and architectures, including modular design, interfaces, APIs, version control, build pipelines, and maintainable testable code.
Strong troubleshooting mindset and interest in learning complex embedded software, target hardware, and AI-enabled workflows.

Responsibilities

Validate integrated software on target fire safety hardware, including embedded firmware and application software.
Improve testability, traceability, defect resolution, and release readiness for safety-critical products.
Advance automated integration test frameworks for speed, coverage, and scalability.
Apply AI-assisted engineering methods to improve coding, test generation, and analysis in safety-critical applications.
Design, develop, execute, and maintain integration test plans, cases, and automated scripts.
