Job summary

General Motors is seeking an Industrial Engineer with Automation experience to design, develop and improve automated manufacturing systems, delivering safe, efficient production. You will partner with manufacturing, quality, launches, maintenance and suppliers to support automation projects and plant performance.

This onsite role requires a Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering and 3+ years in automotive or discrete manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent).
• 3+ years in automotive or discrete manufacturing.
• Experience with automated manufacturing systems or production equipment.

• Design, develop and implement automation solutions for manufacturing systems.
