Job summary

JLL is seeking a Data Protection Analyst to advance our data protection program. You will triage alerts, collaborate with engineering on controls, and automate security processes to mitigate risks and improve data quality.

You will work with the Director, Data Protection and other stakeholders to align with risk tolerance and implement fix-forward solutions. The role requires building precise analytics, guiding employees on data protection matters, and staying current with trends.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in data protection, information security, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of data protection laws and regulations.
• Experience with industry leading DLP and CASB technologies.
• Experience with data security controls and data security incident response.
• Experience working with multiple data protection technologies.
• Experience investigating data loss incidents using data analytics and computer forensics.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Improve and maintain data protection standard operating procedures and global metrics.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to implement data protection controls.
• Implement analytical automation to increase process efficiency.
• Provide guidance on data protection matters to employees.
• Escalate to Insider Threat teams as needed.
• Stay updated on data protection trends and technologies.
• Assist with DLP policy creation and maintenance across technologies.
• Engage with employees on DLP escalations and investigations.
