Job summary

Enterprise Automation Developer

Our client is an established Financial Services provider with the guiding principles of Respect, Service and Community. They are seeking an Automation Developer to join their team. The role will be responsible for designing, building, testing, analyzing, modifying, deploying and supporting low‑risk automation and AI‑enabled workflow solutions. The role receives defined requirements and translates them into innovative solutions, increasing efficiency across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and modify automation logic and workflow integrations (connectors, parsing rules, workflow steps, AI) for low‑risk automation/AI solutions based on defined requirements and approved solution patterns.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing automation/AI solutions through root cause analysis; implement corrective modifications and performance/reliability improvements.
• Implement and enhance prompt‑based and retrieval behaviors (where applicable) using established evaluation criteria and approved patterns; document test results and apply iterative improvements.
• Execute solution testing and validation, ensuring changes meet acceptance criteria prior to release.
• Prepare releases and deploy approved changes to production following peer review and manager approval.
• Perform other job‑related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience: Three to five years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience.
• Education/Certifications: A bachelor’s degree, or equivalent formal certifications recognized in the industry (e.g., information technology certifications in lieu of a degree).

Interpersonal Skills

• Significant level of trust, credibility and diplomacy required. In‑depth dialogue with customers, direct and indirect reports and outside vendors may involve sensitive or highly confidential matters. Communications may involve motivating, influencing, educating and/or advising others on matters of significance.

Other Skills

• Familiarity with low‑code/no‑code platforms.
• Basic understanding of AI concepts (prompting, embeddings, LLMs).
• Experience with document intelligence to extract text and structure from documents.
