Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 2+ years of automation experience using UIPath.
  • 3+ years of SQL experience.
  • 1+ year experience with a programming language.
  • Experience with System Development Methodology.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Independently design, develop, test, and deploy automation solutions.
  • Deliver automation projects within timelines and quality expectations.
  • Apply UiPath best practices for maintainable designs and exception handling.
  • Develop and maintain automation solutions using orchestration platforms and reusable components.
  • Design integrations between automation solutions and external systems via APIs.
  • Write and troubleshoot SQL queries to support logic and data validation.
  • Support automation deployments in cloud platforms and ensure production stability.
  • Create technical and functional documentation for automation processes.

Job description

The Automation Developer designs, develops, implements, and supports end to end automation solutions that improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability across the organization. This role works closely with business analysts, technical teams, and business units to analyze requirements and deliver effective automation solutions using the organization’s automation technology stack.The Automation Developer is responsible for contributing throughout the full automation lifecycle, including solution design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing production support. The ideal candidate brings hands on experience building reliable, maintainable automations, strong problem solving and analytical skills, and a solid understanding of automation best practices, reusable components, and exception handling.This role requires the ability to work across multiple automation technologies, integrate with databases and systems such as SQL based platforms, and adapt to evolving tools and platforms. Experience with modern automation practices, cloud based automation platforms, intelligent automation concepts, and a continuous improvement mindset are highly valued.Duties and Responsibilities:Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:Independently design, develop, test, and deploy automation solutions within the organizationDeliver assigned automation solutions within agreed timelines and quality expectationsApply UiPath best practices including reusability, exception handling, and maintainable design patternsDevelop, configure, and maintain automation solutions using automation development tools and orchestration platforms, including creation and reuse of shared componentsApply modern automation development practices, including use of reusable libraries, frameworks, and standardized components to improve consistency and maintainabilityDesign and implement integrations between automation solutions and external systems, including APIs and service based interfaces, to enable end to end process automationWrite, execute, and troubleshoot SQL queries to support automation logic, reporting, data validation, and issue resolutionDeploy, manage, and support automation solutions in cloud based automation platforms, following modern deployment and operational practicesBuild and maintain intelligent automation solutions using agent based or decision driven components to enable adaptive and scalable process automationSupport automation solutions in production, including monitoring and issue resolutionPerform root cause analysis and implement fixes for automation defects and failuresSupport and maintain deployed automation solutions throughout the application lifecycleIdentify new opportunities to improve the usability, stability and maintainability of automation jobsParticipate in peer reviews, testing activities, and quality assurance to ensure automation reliabilityWrite Functional and Technical Documentation for automation processesCollaborate with team members and stakeholders to continuously improve automation standardsProvide technical consultation for the business communityPlan and implement Development Life Cycle, UAT and Go LiveLearn and apply new tools, technologies, and automation platforms as required to support evolving business and automation requirementsOther related duties as requiredQualifications:Required:Bachelor’s degree in information systems or related field, or sufficient, relevant work experience to equate to the degreeTwo (2) or more years’ of automation experience using UI pathThree (3) or more years’ experience with SQLOne (1) year experience with a Programming LanguageExperience using System Development MethodologyStrong systems analysis, problem solving and design skillsStrong verbal and written communications skillsExcellent customer service skillsAbility to work on multiple projects with multiple deadlinesTeam PlayerPreferred:Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in information systems or related fieldCertified UiPath Advanced Developer.One (1)+ years’ of HMO experienceOne (1)+ years’ experience with XMLExperience writing functional\technical specificationsExperience in the design of relational database structuresExperience in active batch automationExperience with Microsoft Power Automate and Power Platform integrationsExperience with UiPath AI Center, Document Understanding, or related intelligent automation capabilitiesExperience with Altova product suite (XML Spy, MapForce)Experience with Team Foundation Server (TFS) and GIT.Knowledge on more than one Automation ToolsNeighborhood Health Plan of Rhode Island is an equal opportunity employer.
