Job summary

Bow Wave LLC seeks a skilled QA Automation Engineer to design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts supporting enterprise applications. You will collaborate with developers, analysts, and product teams to define test requirements and ensure accurate system behavior across environments.

The role requires hands-on automation using Selenium with TestNG/JUnit, familiarity with Jira/Azure DevOps, and participation in Agile processes.

Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience

• 2+ Years of Professional Experience
• Hands-on experience in automated testing, typically 2–4+ years.
• Ability to design, implement, and execute automated test cases using established frameworks (Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber, etc.).
• Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, testing processes, and best practices.
• Familiarity with defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps) and version control systems such as Git.
• Understanding of test framework architecture and reusable component design for scalable automation.
• Experience working within Agile or iterative development environments.
• Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.

Bonus / Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Pega or Pega-specific automation tools (such as PegaUnit).
• Familiarity with test management tools and CI systems (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.).
• Experience integrating automation into continuous deployment pipelines.
• Background in testing enterprise-level or complex distributed applications.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and experience improving test coverage or automation efficiency.
