Job summary

Bow Wave LLC in Arlington, VA is seeking a QA Tester with expertise in Pega functional testing to design, develop, and execute comprehensive test cases across Pega workflows.

You will collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into test scenarios, and maintain regression suites while supporting Agile ceremonies and cross-team quality initiative.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 2+ years of professional QA experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Pega functional testing tools and QA testing approaches for Pega applications.
  • Strong foundation in Quality Assurance principles, test case development, defect tracking, and regression testing.
  • Ability to analyze requirements and translate them into detailed test scenarios, identifying gaps or ambiguities.
  • Familiarity with Agile/iterative development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to clearly document and articulate defects, risks, and improvement recommendations.
  • Experience working with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).

  • Exposure to test automation or hybrid testing frameworks.
  • Experience participating in CI/CD-integrated testing workflows.
