Job summary

Mach Industries is looking for an Operations Engineer to serve as a deployable operator embedded with engineering, manufacturing and program management teams. You will drive automation, data integration and scalable systems to sustain momentum and product velocity.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, rapid skill development, and minimal oversight while delivering high-impact solutions across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or related fields.
• 1–3+ years in a fast-paced engineering/consulting environment.
• Systems-level intuition across electrical, mechanical and software domains.
• Ability to influence outcomes without formal authority.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Understanding of BOM, work orders, and data structures.
• Experience building automation using Python, SQL, APIs.
• Experience with automation tooling (scripting, Jira, internal systems).

Responsibilities

• Lead development and deployment of internal automation systems to streamline workflows across engineering, manufacturing, and operations.
• Architect and maintain operational data pipelines and dashboards for real-time visibility across programs.
• Design scalable process and systems architectures to support new product lines and expansion.
• Formalize workflows with inputs/outputs, controls, and measurable metrics.
• Diagnose inefficiencies using data-driven analysis and implement durable solutions.
• Build and refine program execution tooling, including tracking systems and risk monitoring.
• Integrate software systems and data sources to create a unified operational backbone.
• Develop lightweight internal applications, scripts, and APIs to automate coordination and reporting.
• Partner with department leaders to translate strategy into implemented systems and processes.
