Job summary

FOX Factory is seeking an experienced automation engineer to assist and advise on automation projects with outside suppliers, including conceptual design, equipment specification, project management, and factory acceptance testing.

You will perform 24/7 production plant support, develop PLC/HMI/SCADA programs, and collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and management to improve manufacturing methods and process control.

Qualifications

• Associates or technical degree preferred.
• 6+ years in manufacturing with automation experience.
• Strong electrical knowledge and hands-on PLC/HMI experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide automation and process control support for 24/7 production plants.
• Identify process improvement projects and design SCADA/PLC programs.
• Modify PLC programs to improve efficiency and quality.
• Work with maintenance to troubleshoot production issues.
• Ensure proper backups of facility software and programs.
• Maintain compliance with government regulations and safety requirements.
