Job summary

Cencora is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to support its fully automated US distribution center operations. Under supervision, you will diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues, read schematics, and configure PLCs/HMI for optimal performance.

You will perform preventative maintenance, manage spare parts, and ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory standards while coordinating with the Systems Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial maintenance, mechanical/electrical tech, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of facilities maintenance or industrial maintenance experience required.
• Certification in Facility Management (CFM) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair automated distribution center equipment and systems.
• Diagnose and fix electrical and mechanical issues across 600V systems, motors, drives, PLCs.
• Read Schematics, load PLC programs, configure HMI/SCADA systems.
• Test equipment, install hardware, and manage software like RSLogix and related tools.
• Ensure compliance with division, corporate and regulatory requirements.
• Execute preventative maintenance plans and update CMMS/EAM records.
• Manage inventory of spare parts and coordinate system upgrades.
• Work extended hours as needed to meet productivity goals.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
