Job summary

Alutiiq, LLC in Pensacola, FL is seeking an Automation Controls Specialist I to install and service building automation and environmental control energy equipment in commercial and industrial buildings, interfacing with customers, architects, and engineers during project start-up and commissioning.

The role focuses on troubleshooting HVAC systems and controls at Naval Air Station Pensacola, calibrating and testing equipment, and ensuring software accuracy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with HVAC/R and building automation systems.
• Ability to interface with customers, engineers, and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electronic control system malfunctions
• Manage assigned work to meet professional execution, time, and customer satisfaction standards
• Report problems or changes to management immediately
• Interface with Service Manager, Service Project Manager, and subcontractors on projects to coordinate activities
• Ability to work in a variety of circumstances, including climbing ladders, scaffolds, and high-lift equipment; working in ducts, crawl spaces, roofs, basements, above ceilings, and in outside/inside/heat/cold/day/night conditions
• Ability to work in a team environment providing dedicated support to our customers
• Work according to project timelines and required processes
