Job summary

A&P Technology in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Controls Technician to build and maintain control systems for new and existing equipment. You will work on control cabinets/panels, configuration programming, installation, testing, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities include reading electrical drawings, wiring, configuring servo/PLC/HMI hardware, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive automation improvements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with control system wiring and pneumatics.
• Experience using hand and power tools, fault-testing equipment, and soldering.
• Excellent communication, problem solving and organizational skills.
• Self-motivated, adaptable personality in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics and specifications.
• Build and install automation control systems (electrical/pneumatic).
• Configure servo, PLC, and HMI hardware.
• Troubleshoot and repair control systems and equipment.
• Collaborate with a multi-functional team to optimize and implement automation solutions.
