WMFHA is seeking a Maintenance Technician (1st Shift) to support reliability and efficiency of our manufacturing operations. The role focuses on maintaining plant equipment, troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems, and supporting automation controls.

The ideal candidate has a strong technical background, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and continuous improvement in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment preferred.
• Experience with Siemens Step7 / TIA Portal and Allen Bradley RS5000 software highly preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical docs.
• Familiarity with SAP and CMMS preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Strong organizational skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to work 1st shift 6AM-3PM.

Responsabilités

• Perform maintenance, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair of plant machinery to maximize uptime.
• Execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Manage PLC programs and instrumentation configuration.
• Support automation systems using Siemens Step7 / TIA Portal and Allen Bradley RSLogix/RS5000 platforms.
• Interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings to resolve issues.
• Assist with wiring and installation of control panels.
• Diagnose mechanical/electrical malfunctions using testing tools.
• Maintain motors, conveyors, pneumatics, hydraulics, and related equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections and monitor safety systems.
• Collaborate with Operations and Process Engineering to improve performance.
• Identify process improvements with production staff.
• Use CMMS to create, update, and close work orders.
• Ensure maintenance follows safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Support reliability, continuous improvement, and lean initiatives.
