Job summary

100Hires, Inc. is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Electrician – Automation & Controls to keep production lines running smoothly in a Michigan facility. You will diagnose faults, reference schematics, connect to PLCs, verify VFD parameters, and bring cells back online while minimizing downtime.

You’ll also complete PMs, replace worn servo motors, and document actions for traceability. The role requires hands-on maintenance experience in manufacturing, strong problem-solving, and the ability to

Qualifications

Hands-on experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
Sharp troubleshooting instincts and methodical problem-solving skills.
Comfort working around industrial machinery and automated production equipment.
Ability to read and apply technical documentation, prints, and schematics.
Willingness to work in a union manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing and production equipment to keep lines running safely and efficiently.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance across machinery and support equipment.
Diagnose root causes and determine repairs, then replace mechanical/electrical components as needed.
Interpret blueprints, schematics, diagrams and manuals to guide decisions.
Apply hand and power tools, and diagnostic instruments safely and confidently.
